"Vixen of Anadyr parades med Alyeska's Sugrut of Chinook. I den kullen kom den snabbeste hund som Earl og Natalie någonsin ägt. Han föddes den 10. november 1958, och hans namn var Alaskan's Nicolai of Anadyr. Han gick singelled, och Earl säger att han aldrig lyckades köpa en hund som kunde hålla jämna steg med Nicolai. Han fick därför producera sin egen konkurrens. Han parades med Alaskan's Bon-Bon of Anadyr och gav bl.a. Alaskan's Astro of Anadyr. Nicolais liv blev kort. Han kom lös, sprang ut på en väg och dödades av en bil."
