In an interview Karsten tell: "In '78 I imported dogs from the USA which completed my basic stock. They were Yeso Pac's el Diablo and Arctic Trail's Fang. Fang was one of the most proven sled dogs in New England at that time I bought him."

"El Diablo was only two ears old and not yet tested. He turned out to be a very good dog who passed on his positive genes strongly to his progeny and also 2. generation."

He produced Kermit out of a Peik x Talitta female (Ylva) as well as many other good dogs."

El Diablo "Yellow" (pet name) sired 7 litters on the kennel from 1982 to 1985. Influential offspring: Kermit, Libra Libby, Cassiopeia, Dakota, Sputnik.

Yellow was happy and friendly to both people and dogs. He was a slow starter but good endurance, enthustiastic in hook up.
